Zuma refuses to accept the NPA's decision

Former President Jacob Zuma's lawyers are expected to have the NPA's decision to prosecute Zuma overturned. They allegedly plan to use prosecutorial manipulation and misconduct as grounds for having the case struck off the roll.

When the NPA announced that the 16 charges of corruption, money laundering and racketeering in connection with the arms deal have been reinstated against Zuma.

Brieflt.co.za learned that Shaun Abrahams, head of the NPA, said that Zuma's representations had been unsuccessful according to ewn.co.za.

The DA demands that the state reveal how much the state has spent on defending Zuma in court and that he must pay it back.

Cyril Ramaphosa revealed that the ANC had signed an agreement with Zuma that they would pay his legal fees as long as he is found not guilty.

The DA has argued that this deal could not be legal and the state should review the deal.
