The woman identified as Odette Harris became the first female African neurosurgery professor to teach at Stanford University.
It was gathered that she is also the second African female neurosurgery professor in the United States of America.
The amazing success story was shared on social media to congratulate the woman and applaud the progress of black people around the world. Her story was shared by a Twitter user identified simply as Jemisha.
Jemisha wrote: “Congratulations to Dr. Odette Harris! She is now the first African American female neurosurgery professor at Stanford University. She is also just the second African American female neurosurgery professor in US.”
