Sometimes all we need is a sign, a hint to point us in the right direction and new initiative in Johannesburg is showing us the way.
A series of street signs and accessories for street lights instructing people to call their moms, to be kind and flashing little hearts is having a major impact in the city.
Briefly.co.za discovered that an anonymous South African broke through the white noise of the street signs in the city with a series of street pole adverts which have popped up all over according to goodthingsguy.com.
The messages have inspired people, people such as Sara Elizabeth Loots who took to Facebook to share the love.
“Whoever put these up… YOU ARE EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS COUNTRY GREAT. This is why I love this city so damn much. If you were looking for a sign, this is it! Seen on Barry Hertzog.”
