The political rhetoric in South Africa is currently leaning towards communism and the nationalisation of property like land and banks.
While many believe that the divide between rich and poor is insurmountable in the current capitalist democracy we have, others believe that socialism and communist ideals are a sure way to promote poverty and economic decline.
One such person is Siph Ndlovu, a Twitter user who believes that blacks need to follow a conservative political process, based on regulated capitalism in order to save South Africa from poverty.
Ndlovu describes himself as a "black conservative, believer in capitalism, & human rights - ideas influenced by Thomas Sowell."
Ndlovu's Twitter account seems to be to raise awareness of factual evidence which suggests that the ANC and EFF are Marxists, and base their politics on racial division.
He recently posted clips of Thomas Sowell, the American politician who influenced him. In the clips, Sowell explains that the liberal views of welfare for the poor are idealistic, and have no basis in reality.
