DJ Black Coffee’s ongoing divorce battle and gender based-violence claims resulted in Holly Rey pulling out of her record deal with Soulistic Music record label. This whole situation is tainting his name.
It has been reported by ZAlebs that Rey pulled out after hearing of the accusations Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa has made against Coffee.
Sunday World contacted Rey and was told that, aside from her wanting to distance herself from Coffee, she also left the label for personal growth reasons.
“I left the record label earlier this year because I realised there was much more I can do as an independent artist, and then the scandals came through. At the time, I realised that my move would make better business sense and with everything that is happening, I’m just glad that I successfully released my single and will be releasing an EP later this year.”

Black Coffee is currently going through a nasty divorce with estranged wife Enhle Mbali. When the curious fan asked Sarah if she was planning to be in a relationship soon, she replied:
"Uhmm! Noooo... I’m currently on a journey of self discovery and healing," she said, according to IOL.
It was also reported that record producer Black Coffee is rumoured to be dating Sarah Langa and now it seems that social media users are reading into everything she posts. Sarah recently took to social media to share that she decided to sort out her solar power source so she could have electricity.
This made social media detectives think that she was throwing shade at Black Coffee's ex-wife, Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa, who had a power outage recently due to the bill not being paid. Sarah excitedly posted that she decided to fix her power instead of buying a new handbag.
