Tweeps haul MTN over the coals for increasing their rates and cancelling free Twitter

MTN is coming under fire from people on social media after the cellular company announced that it would cancel its free twitter offer and increase its data rates.

Briefly.co.za learned that this coincides with the 1% VAT increase and some people are having none of it. What should be a 1% increase turns out to be closer to 25%.

Needless to say South Africans are fuming and are baying for blood. It seems that MTN has not headed the call for #DataMustFall.
