Halala: Brilliant SA Student Graduates with 20 Distinctions & Prestigious Dean's Merit Award

- A beautiful Durban University of Technology student has managed to graduate with flying colours while obtaining her qualification in public relations and communications

- The brilliant student, Nontethelelo Mzizi, managed to secure herself a whopping 20 distinctions and a Dean's Merit Award at her graduation

- Mzizi is now the proud owner of two qualifications as she previously graduated cum laude with a diploma in journalism and media studies back in 2016

Nontethelelo Mzizi is a bright young woman with an even brighter future ahead of her. The brilliant Durban University of Technology student has managed to bag a whopping 20 distinctions at her graduation.

Mzizi is also the recipient of the prestigious Dean's Merit Award. She is now the proud owner of a diploma in public relations and communications, which joins her other qualification in journalism and media studies.

“I am a strong believer in education, formal or informal. People should always try to learn something new, expose themselves to a variety of information, I believe that’s where we find ourselves, what we are truly passionate about and what makes us happy.
"I have always wanted to be a journalist, but during my studies, I was able to determine that I was not keen on certain parts of it and that’s when I knew that Public relations was what would be aligned with my goals, I still get to write, but with less chaos and in a slower-paced environment,” she said in a DUT news piece.

Briefly News also reported that Dr Tiyiselani Ndukwani is an inspiring man as he just clinched his PhD at the age of 29 and the Tshwane University of Technology graduate has shared his story.

Ndukwani says he is now a role model to his students and friends. The proud man is a lecturer at Rosebank College, according to his bio, and says he was referred to as "Dr" even before bagging his first degree.

He says that motivated him to go and register because he didn’t want to disappoint his peers. His story has been documented by Varsity World via Facebook and inspired many Facebookers immensely.
