The tweet ended with a question, which got a lot of mixed reactions from tweeps across South Africa.

“As a South African, are landless White people entitled to land through gov land distribution programme?”, the question read.

A lawyer with the handle @RukahsUrama gave a really good explanation to the question, using the South African law to back his answer.

South Africans also weighed in, and it was here where the real debate started. Many felt white people should be excluded because of the injustice in the past, where others felt citizens should move forward and everyone should be treated equally.
