Tito Mboweni bit off more than he could chew on his trip through East Africa

Tito Mboweni, former governor of the South African Reserve Bank, has bee enjoying his time away from the hustle and bustle of Mzansi in East Africa.

He visited amazing places across Africa and was taken aback by the beauty of the continent .but before he left a country he made a point of trying their food.

Part of his journey was an exploration of East African cuisine and all things spicy. His first taste of East African chilies was in Rwanda where he took a selfie after tasting one of fiery spices. Those were no crocodile tears.
