Mzansi's 5 highest paid female celebs

South Africa has some serious talent, especially when it comes to our famous ladies. Social media is awash with pictures of our local celebs living it up in luxury.

Our ladies make their money through modelling, presenting, hosting, endorsing products, radio interviews and television appearances.

Briefly.co.za learned that the exact salaries of our celebs are not known but a rough estimate of who makes the most has been made based on what they do according to youthvillage.co.za.

Here are SA's highest paid female celebs:

1. Bonang Matheba

Bonang's face has been used to promote various brands and she has hosted television and radio programmes. She is a healthy role model for our kids. It was estimated that she earned R2-million in six months working with Ciroc Vodka.

2. Minnie Dlamini

Minenhle Dlamini, aka Minnie, earns an estimated R18 000 per call on Soccer Zone. Her new contract with Super Sport is estimated to earn her as much as three times what she earned on Soccer Zone.

3. Pabi Moloi

Pabi charges R45 000 per event she is one of the highest paid MCs in South Africa. Celebs who MC earn good money very quick but having brand sponsorships and relationships with big companies create a more onsistent income.

4. Jeannie D

Like Pabi, Jeannie makes her money as an MC and charges the same rates and like Pabi faces the same challenges of finding a consistent income.

5. Pearl Thusi

Getting paid in dollars helps and Pearl earns an estimated $2000 (R23 000) per call makes her one of SA's highest paid celebs.
