Fourway’s Hirsch’s staff pulled together to help the traffic issue in their community

The Fourways Hirsch’s branch experienced so problems with the circle outside of their branch. From water pipe issues to roadworks, it had been a complete mess for a while. It was so bad that cars had to take alternative routes.

One morning the traffic was completely backed up and the giant potholes were not making it any easier for traffic to flow as they and to be avoided. The staff saw this and they selflessly went to assist.

They decided to go and patch up the holes that the municipality had neglected to do.

“It was hindering traffic movement around the circle outside the store very badly, and the staff and management rallied around before work and filled it. Hirsch’s Fourways takes huge pride in being an active part of the community in Lonehill and Fourways. Jerome Toplan, Chrissie Nortman and the staff delivered one filled pothole with love to the community.” – Sharron Dingle

Although it is just a meantime fix, the community is extremely grateful for the selflessness of the staff. It is inspiring to see people helping purely out of the kindness of their hearts.
