The Randburg Magistrate's Court sentenced former real estate agent Vicki Momberg to two years in jail for her 2016 racist tirade.

The sentencing sparked various reactions on Twitter. While some hailed it as a great example of what awaits racists, others pointed to perceived double standards.

Many Twitter users as well as some political parties welcomed the sentencing:
