From petrol attendant to law graduate: Student urges black children not to give up on their dreams

A young man has shared his success with Tweeps, hoping to inspire other black children to chase their dreams.

The man, only known as Mr B T Chihera, told how he worked as a petrol attendant for four years before deciding he wanted more out of life.

So, he sucked it up and started studying towards a degree in Law, and in 2017 he received his graduation letter.

However, it appears he did not go throw the journey alone. Twitter users managed to help him pay off his tuition fees.

Tweeps asked him if he needed any money, but he said one lady promised to pay the enitre outstanding balance.

And, he later confirmed she made a payment of R33 000 towards his education fees.

But, it did not stop others from offering help. The messages came flooding in, with tweeps congratulating him and asking if he needed more money. It proves South Africans can look out for each other.
