A husband-and-wife duo has graduated together from the same university after juggling their studies, parenthood and jobs.
Johannes and Elizabeth Mogotsi obtained their Bachelor of Arts degrees from Wits University recently, Briefly.co.za learned.
Incidentally, they are both staff members at Wits University.
Speaking to Times Live, the couple said they are not yet done with their studies, as they are pursuing Postgraduate Diplomas in Management at Wits Business School.
Johannes, who hopes to secure a managerial position with his extra qualifications, also plans to start his Masters in Management next year.

Elizabeth said her position at Examinations and Graduations Office (EGO) at Wits University often required her to usher in graduates. This inspired her to get her own degree.
She explained the challenges of studying while working and being a parent:
You need to manage your time properly. Studying while you are working is difficult. You have to be able to manage your time and juggle between work and school.

Johannes' job entails counselling students, and this also inspired him to study further:
I was inspired to counsel people about the road that I have walked. It makes sense when you tell people about the road you have walked and know about.
