Vicki Momberg raised eyebrows when she appeared in court sporting a new hairstyle after only a week in prison.
Momberg was sentenced to an effective two years in jail after she was convicted on four charges defined as “a wilful injury to someone’s dignity‚ caused by the use of obscene or racially offensive language or gestures”, SowetanLIVE reported.
She has since appealed the judgement and sentence she received for her racist rant, which she blamed temporary insanity.
On Wednesday she entered court for the appeal case, which was postponed to 11 April, but it was her hairdo that got all the attention.
Briefly.co.za learned Momberg was seen sporting cornrows, a hairstyle distinctively worn by black people. And, Tweeps just could not let it go.
Taking to social media South Africans shared their opinions about her new look, with many poking fun at the convicted racist.
Although many made fun of her, there were enraged tweeps who felt her new hairstyle was just another slap in the faces of black people.
