Peter Ndoro almost said the wrong person died again

The veteran news reporter has just recently returned to work after taking a break due to fatigue after making a number of on-air mistakes.

Seconds before taking an on-air call from Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi, Ndoro accidentally said that Buthelezi had died instead of Lucas Mangope, the former Bophuthatswana leader.

Again in February, Ndoro accidentally said that Cyril Ramaphosa had died instead of the Zimbabwean opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai.

This week he almost slipped up again and stopped himself just as he was about to say "Minnie" instead of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela while reporting on her death.
