NEC gives non-stop support to Winnie’s mourning family

David Mabuza, South Africa’s deputy president, gave statement saying that the national executive will continue to visit Winnie Madikizela-Mandela's home in continuous support to her mourning family.

Mabuza confirmed that the famalies funeral arrangements are going smoothly and will run accordingly.

He spent some one on one time inside the house with Madikizela-Mandela’s children and grandchildren to show his support.

He thanked them graciously for their incredible hospitality in such a trying time.

“We’re also grateful that the family has opened its doors very wide for all leaders in our society.”

Multiple national executives, along with some other big names, visited the home on Wednesday. These included the former president Jacob Zuma, the African National Congress’s Jackson Mthembu and former Springbok captain Francois Pienaar.

The support has been truly inspiring and greatly appreciated by the family.
