COSATU pleads with Ramaphosa and Makhura to sort e-tolls out

The Congress of South African Trade Unions is deeply concerned that motorists might lose their driving licenses over unpaid e-toll fees.

A new bill being pushed by Aarto might strip drivers of their licenses and COSATU believes that it is the government's responsibility to do something.

COSATU believes that e-tolls has nothing to do with ensuring the safety of the road users but is an attempt to privatize the roads in the name of profit.

The national spokesperson of COSATU, Sizwe Pamla cannot understand that despite the e-toll police being rejected by the ANC and its alliance partners legislation such as this is still being smuggled into parliament.
