"I want my own taxi": Man helps make his 63-year-old domestic worker's dream a reality

On a segment called Make My Monday on Jacaranda FM, a 63-year-old woman’s dream was realised when Rian, the show’s host, told her he’ll be helping her get her license.

Margaret Mthimunye wanted nothing more than to get her license, so her employer, Pellie Grobler, thought it well to ask Rian for help in making her dream a reality.

Mthimunye has been working as a domestic for the Grobler family for five years, but she has bigger plans for her life.

She of getting her license and then starting her own small taxi service. But, she has face difficulties getting her license with driving schools getting caught up in dishonest money-making practises.

So, Grobler asked Rian to help them find a way for her to get her licences in an honest manner.

He told Rian she passed her learner’s licence with flying colours, scoring 100% on her test.

When they broke the news to Mthimunye of their plan to help her with her licence, she was over the moon.

She could not stop thanking them, adding God would bless them for their kindness towards her.

Now, let’s just cross our fingers for Mthimunye and hope she fulfils her dreams.
