Soccer super star Justin Shonga: ‘I am still a police officer back home in Zambia’

Orlando Pirates striker Justin Shonga, who si originally from Zambia, stated that he will always be a police officer back home, apart from being a professional soccer player in SA.

He left Nkwazi FC in September last year to join the Buccaneers. He has made a great impact on the team having scored three goals and having four assists to his name in his 17 appearances for the Soweto giants, has made a lasting impression.

“I am still a police officer back home in Zambia. It is not an easy thing to play football and be a police officer, it takes a lot of determination and you have to work hard and focus. You have to focus on the goals that you want to achieve in your life.”

Shonga’s goal against Chippa United on February 27 was voted as the best goal of the month. He is a man of many surprises, but we cannot deny his commitment and focus.
