- DJ Roto only has 2 fingers on each hand
- However, he wowed the crowd at the launch of an NGO recently
- He urged people not to let their disabilities limit them
A disabled DJ proved that disability is not inability after captivating the crowd at the launch of House of Paradise recently.
DJ Roto, whose real name is Morena Tsotetsi, was out to inspire people to overcome their challenges or disabilities. He only has two fingers on each hand.
According to Daily Sun, House of Paradise is a nongovernmental organisation for women, children and people with disabilities in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni.
DJ Roto, 34, is a member of the NGO and served as the event's MC. He also performed some of his own songs. Speaking to Daily Sun, he said:
I don’t let my disability limit me and neither should anyone else. I’ve got two fingers and I’m doing wonders. Imagine what you can do with 10? You can do 10 times what I’m doing.
Besides being a DJ, Roto is also a fashion designer, motivational speaker, and soccer player.
House of Paradise's founder, Ntombi Shezi, thanked the local councillor for ensuring the NGO received land for its premises.
