How a selfie saved a girl's life: Woman captures man spiking her drink

Drink spiking does not only happen in the movies, in fact, a lot of girls in South Africa fall victim to it.

And despite it happening a lot to young ladies, and even men, the subject is often swept under the rug.

But, one tweep's post showed just how dangerous drink spiking is because it can happen in only a few seconds.

Twitter users @Jaeda_sky posted a video on social media showing two girls at a concert having fun. However, the video takes an unexpected turn when a guy is caught spiking the girl's drink.

"I’ll never understand how a dude can be so wack with no game and feel the need to be such a disgusting predator. Ladies watch your drinks! Watch her cup ", she captioned the post.

Although some tweeps went full on rage-mode, others pointed out that they think the video is fake, adding it's forgivable because it raises awareness.

One tweep came to clear up the mess, saying the incident took place in Brazil and it was a couple of friends 'playing a joke'.
