A couple received the best blessing they could ever ask for after 15 years of marriage, with the birth of their first child.

A child is a blessing to a family, that's why whenever a family welcomes a child he or she is celebrated. A family becomes whole when a child is born.

The couple who welcomed a bouncing baby took their little one to church to celebrate the birth of the child, Briefly.co.za gathered.

A social media user identified as Mfon Abel Ekene who described himself as a sibling to the mother of the child, took to Facebook to give thanks to God for the blessing he bestowed upon his sister.

He wrote: "After 15 years of marriage, our amazing and awesome God finally gave my Sister and her husband a child! Today was dedication and we took it personal! Calabar was amazing today. God is good! He makes everything beautiful in his time."
