A farmer in Polokwane is boosting his sales by delivering vegetables directly to his clients at no extra cost.
Tebogo Motubatse, who comes from a farming background, previously used to sell his produce at a fixed location.
However, business was slow because of competition from other farmers. He therefore came up with the idea of "Mobile Veggies Guy," Briefly.co.za learned.
After some market research, Tebogo realised that there were a lot of people who did not want to go shopping for veggies after work.
He therefore began delivering and building relationships. Over time, he came up with weekly, biweekly and monthly packages.

Speaking to reviewonline.co.za, Tebogo explained:
The weekly package consists of seven different vegetables for R90. The biweekly package consists of nine different vegetables, with an option to swap three vegetables, for R189.
The monthly package consists of 15 different vegetables with the option to swap five vegetables, for R300.
Tebogo has even bigger plans for Mobile Veggies Guy. He hopes to run one of the largest farms in Limpopo one day and to start an organic restaurant. He advised young entrepreneurs:
Pride is not a friend. There is no place for an ego in business because you have to humble yourself and ask for people to give your products a chance. But you also need the ‘never give up’ spirit because in the end profit is better than a salary.
