UNISA professor allegedly makes work unbearable for black women

Workers and students at the University of South Africa (UNISA), have launched a protest against one of the professors at the institution.

The Executive Director: Academic Planner, Professor Peter Havenga, has allegedly been accused of making the working environment intolerable for black women in his department.

Secretary-General of the Black Forum, Kgagudi Morota, said female employees are being abused emotionally, psychologically and lately physically, Briefly.co.za learned.

The organisation represents women who claim to have been abused by UNISA's Executive Director.

Speaking to #UpdateatNoon, Morota said: "Professor Peter Havenga is abusing his powers at the university and this is affecting productivity."

UNISA management has denied any knowledge of the allegations against the professor.
