Siphiwe Mtshali made his name when he became the host of the popular dance show, Jam Alley. The talented TV personality has climbed his way up the ranks over the years.

The 36 year old actor now plays the role of Bash on the eTV’s soapie, Rhythm City. He has been on the show for a lengthy seven years and still going strong. He loves his role and seems to have a lot of fun on set.

“Rhythm City has the craziest set I’ve ever been on.”

But aside from his on TV presence, here are three fun facts about the Rhythm City star:

1. Siphiwe Mtshali was born in Soweto, Gauteng. He still lives in Gauteng as it is the hub of his career.

2. He is a family man and loves his wife, Charmaine Mtshali, dearly. They have five wonderful boys together and he says that he cannot imagine life without her.

“My wife is an extension of me; we are a mean team. We go through difficulties like any other married couple, but I can confidently say that we love each other and we are stronger as a team.”

3. Simphiwe grew up in the Zion church as his father is a Bishop at a Zion church.

Simphiwe is definitely a family man front and foremost and we are sure to be seeing him on our TV screens for many years to come.
