- House hold name brand helped 10 000 children get school shoes
- The campaign assisted 12 underprivileged schools and communities in 5 provinces
- The children were extremely grateful for the kind gesture and the campaign wishes to help thousands more
10 000 School children’s lives were changed, when Clover Krush, Smart Steps and the Goodness Crew spent two months making a huge difference to these young lives.
A campaign was launched just over two months ago by Clover Krush spreading kindness across our wonderful land. With the help and generosity from Novita Smart Steps, 10 000 pairs of school shoes were handed out to children in need. This campaign was not confined to schools but spread into the communities as well, bringing so much joy, making it a massive success.
The campaign’s aim was to uplift the entire community and at the same help children. The focus was based on 12 underprivileged schools and communities within five provinces.
“Children represent the future and they represent innocence and goodness, and so if we add a little dose of goodness to make it easier for them to get to school so they can concentrate on learning, it adds goodness into their lives and as a result, to the community at large. Krush is more than just a great tasting fruit juice; it’s a great fruit juice that cares about its community and stands for something bigger” – Nonhlanhla Hlatshwayo, Group Brand Manager for Krush.
With the campaign reaching out to the communities as well, on the days the school shoes were handed out, the residents of the particular area, all received juices from Krush. Making this an incredible gesture, 53 200 people were touched by this amazing drive.
Some of the children showed their gratitude and joy for receiving their new shoes and were so appreciative for the helping hand.
“Thank you to Clover Krush for thinking about us in our school.”
“My parents did not have money to buy me new school shoes. Thank you to Clover Krush, I now have a new pair of school shoes.”
Let’s all pull together and join forces in making a change. We can add to this story a thousand times over to make over beautiful South Africa even better.
