As Briefly.co.za reported previously, South Africans took to social media to talk about Komphela’s career of ‘dololo’, which translated means nothing.

And the Chiefs’ loss on Saturday did not help his case at all. Komphela’s side lost 3-0 to the Port Elizabeth team, making it the Kaizer Chiefs’ biggest loss this season.

The shocking outcome of the game resulted in fans vandalizing the stadium by tearing down fences and later throwing objects at the unpopular coach.

A video surfaced online, which showed just how fed up fans are. At one point the Kaizer Chiefs supporters are heard chanting the removal of Komphela.

Komphela received harsh treatment at the end of the game, as he needed to be shielded from the missiles thrown at him.

But, was the fans’ behaviour unfair towards the coach? Could he single-handedly have ruined the Kaizer Chiefs?
