Siyabonga Thwala’s new show Yobe had viewers in tears

Siyabonga Thwala shows Mzansi a softer side of himself. The TV hardman hosts a new reality TV show that allows open confessions, which aired on Tuesday evening.

Siyabonga managed to turn on the water works for all who were watching the first episode. It was a real tear jerker.

He is more commonly known for his roles in famous South African TV soapies Scandal! and Generations. The well-known actor developed the new TV show Yobe, which hosts convicts and allows them to openly release their baggage to friends and family in the hopes of gaining forgiveness.

Despite knowing his on TV persona, we were never ready for the feels that came along with this show.

The first guest was Baba Khoza who got robbed by a group of young men from the township and he expressed that the fear he lives with is still very real. Despite the awful crime that these men did, their heartfelt apology and request for forgiveness, pulled on everyone’s heart strings.

Viewers took to social media to express their feelings and all the tears that they shed.

The show definitely knows how to make people reach for their tissues.
