Tlhopie Motsepe states his dreams for Mamelodi Sundowns

After forming a partnership with Jay-Z's Roc Nation, Mostepe Junior is now setting his sights on bringing more experienced faces. He said:

“Our motto, 'The Sky is The Limit', reminds us that no dream is too big and by working together with like-minded organisations, we can go further and inspire those around us.”

Toni Alvarez and Luis Martinez were part of the technical team and were accompanied by LaLiga Southern Africa Managing Director Marcos Pelegrin as they explored coaching methods.

Club legends such as Godfrey Sapula, Surprise Moriri and Isaac Shai were also part of the training or workshop. LaLiga’s Pelegrin said:

“We are thankful to Mamelodi Sundowns and the club’s chairperson, Tlhopie Motsepe, for extending the invitation to share ideas and information between our LaLiga coaches and the Sundowns technical team.
"It is part of LaLiga’s express desire to contribute to the growth and development of football in the Southern African region. We hope to have similar visits and exchanges with other PSL clubs and with football bodies in the Cosafa region, which are extremely mutually beneficial.”

Mamelodi Sundowns to face Kaizer Chiefs in the DStv Premiership

With some of their players such as Rushine De Reuck and Thapeolo Morena fresh from the FIFA international break with Bafana Bafana, Sundowns will meet their old rivals, Chiefs.

Bouncing back to their domestic schedule, the reigning DStv Premiership champions will welcome Amakhosi on Sunday afternoon at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in what is expected to be a mouth-watering encounter.

Rulani Mokwena gives a very stern warning to the opposition

In other sports news, Briefly News previously reported that Rulani Mokwena has issued a stern warning to other clubs as the season has started.

Eyeing the DStv Premiership once again, Mokwena believes that the club will reach "top gear" in their next few games. The defending champions have had a decent start to the new season, winning against Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu.

The club has also drawn against Chippa United, which was a difficult match for them. The Brazilians were defeated to a 1-1 tie in the first leg of the MTN8 semi-finals by Golden Arrows, although they did score a crucial late away goal, according to The South African.
