Caster Semenya eyes double gold as she books her spot for the 800m

Caster Semenya has secured her place in the 800m final in Australia as she competes for her second gold the Commonwealth Games.

She raced to victory and won gold for the 1500m final and set a new record for the Commonwealth Games with 4 min 00.71 secs.

Briefly.co.za learned that her heat for the 800m was no challenge for her as she ran it in 1:59.26 according to enca.com.

So far she has amassed a number of gold medals from the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Gamers as well as winning a number of races World Championship events in 2009, 2011 and 2012.
