Taxi Violence Unit caught endangering residents as they shoot guns in the air

A video surfaced online showing two men discharging their firearms in the air, while surrounded by residents from a KwaZulu-Natal community.

The men are reportedly part of a private taxi management unit, as they are seen getting into a Black Nissan Navara with "Taxi Violence Unit" written on the back.

According to the South African Police Service, the incident took place last weekend near Hillcrest in Durban.

The video sparked outrage among social media users, who felt citizen from KwaZulu-Natal was acting as if they were a country on their own.
