South Africa's 'Messi', brings Sundowns within reach of the title

Mamelodi Sundowns star Percy Tau manufacted the goals which seured the 2-0 win against Wits on Satuday which gives the club a six-point lead in the South African Premiership with only four rounds remaining in the competition.

The Pretoria based club has amassed 52 points from only 26 matches and need only seven points from the next four matches to win the competition.

Briefly.co.za learned that the coach, Pitso Mosimane, has repeatedly praised Tau during the season and has dubbed him South Africa's Messi according to citizen.co.za.

The 23-year-old soccer star is set to be crowned the South African Footballer of the Season secured the victory over Wits by setting Themba Zwane and Sibusiso Vilakazi up to score during the first half of the match.
