On Friday, 13 April, two Ehurhuleni Metro cops were left red in the face after they crashed into each other on North Rand Road in Boksburg- but, according to them, it was not their fault.
The two cops said a woman was driving on the wrong side of the road when the cop in the front stopped to avoid a head on collision.
However, his colleague did not expect the sudden stop, causing him to slam into his co-worker.
According to Ekurhuleni Metro cop spokesman Kobedi Mokheseng, the gogo told the officers the dog travelling with her distracted her and she lost control.
The driver wasn’t involved in the accident and did not sustain any injuries,” said Mokheseng.
However, according to the cops, the let the gogo drive off, which was something South Africans found hard to believe since she was the one who caused the accident.
The incident was captured by drivers and the pic made rounds on social media, which prompted South Africans to make fun of the cops.
