The verdict is in: What tweeps had to say about SA's new soapie, #ImbewuTheSeed

Imbewu: The Seed is the new soapie on South African television and thus far it's receiving quite the positive response.

When the show was first announced, etv described it as "a deep and unspoken truth, representing the cultural legacy between two brothers, is at the centre of the series."

So, Briefly.co.za decided to take a look at what tweeps though about the new soapie, is it hot or not?

The show received a warm welcome by South Africans, who could not wait to watch the first episode on Monday night.

Tweeps were impressed by the intriguing story line of the soapie, some even calling it an epic mystery.

Tweeps were intrigued by the unfaithful wife who had three children with another man because her hubby is infertile, and to add to the drama, her mother-in-law is part of the scheme.

So, the verdict is in after the first episode and tweeps are giving the show thumbs up.
