Siphiwe Tshabalala is one of the most famous footballers of his generation, and he led his team to victory more than once, but what do we know about him?
Playing for the Kaizer Chiefs, Tshabalala has scored 34 goals for the club since his fist appearance in 2007.

1. His early life
Tshabalala was born on 25 September 1984 to Isaac Tshabalala and Hadifele Rebecca. He is one of two children, having a younger sister named Mpumi.
2. What he wanted to be if soccer did not work out
Tshabalala said if he did not have a career in football, he would have wanted to become a chartered accountant.
3. A man in high demand
Tshabalala is endorsed by Nike, Shield and Pro-Nutro.
4. He received a huge salary
According to a reported posted by The South African, Tshabalala received R380 000 a month in 2017.
5. He's married to a beauty queen
Tshabalala tied the knot to model and Miss SA 2010 Bokang Montjane. The couple only went public with their relationship after the birth of their son.
