A 19-year-old student has become the youngest graduate from University of KwaZulu-Natal's College of Humanities.
Briefly.co.za gathered that Bulelani Mazibuko graduated this week with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Law.
Speaking to Ndaba Online, Bulelani expressed his excitement at finally having his degree.
I am excited and humbled that this moment has finally arrived. It feels good. After all the sweat and tears, it has finally happened. It’s really a moment to remember and cherish.
Bulelani added that he chose his field of study because of his desire to serve society and give back to his community.
The young student has already started his second degree — an LLB. He said he was lucky he started schooling at the age of five and matriculated at 15.
Bulelani thanked his friends and family, who are equally proud of him, for their support. He had this advice to young students:
Have a purpose and make sure everything you do is getting you closer and closer to fulfilling that purpose. Prioritise, believe in yourself and work hard.
