SA Student Inspires: After 4 Heart Surgeries, Laura Anne Hunter Bags Her Honours Degree

Wits University post-grad graduate Laura-Anne Hunter has left many Mzansi citizens speechless with her inspiring journey.

Having undergone four intensive heart surgeries in her time, Laura still managed to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Wits University.

Laura has a condition known as Pulmonary Atresia, which left her fearing the coronavirus more than most, reported News24. Having just had surgery and then the pandemic hitting, Laura went through the most during her studies.

Young lady graduates in style, Mzansi goes wild

South African youths are slowly but surely grabbing education by the horns and becoming graduates. A young lady just jumped on the bandwagon and joined the rest of Mzansi's graduates, reported Briefly News.

Taking to Twitter, @Mcloopz_ shared an inspirational post about becoming a graduate. Her heartwarming post included some snaps of herself in her cap and gown and even one of her folks standing beside her looking as proud as ever.
