South African musician Zahara has opened her heart, and her wallet, to a woman who had been bedridden for several years.
While driving home one day, Zahara heard the story of Mama Miriam Olga Mabetoa on Lesedi FM.
Mabetoa was paralysed five years ago, and without the proper medical equipment, she has since then not been able to move from her bed.
The story touched Zahara's heart, prompting her to take action so that she could help better the paralysed woman's life.
The songstress took to social media to share Mabetoa's story, and how she went at it to make a difference.
"A few weeks ago I was driving back home when I heard Mama Miriam Olga Mabetoa's story on Lesedi FM. She was paralyzed in 2013, since then she hasn't been able to move out of her bed. Today I visited her & bought her a new wheelchair.", she captioned a video of her visit.
Her Instagram followers were in awe over her act of kindness, and they praised her for helping Mabetoa.
"I take my hat off for you, very few people do what you did while they are touched by many needy story, they turn a blind eye, you did a great job, may the good Lord Bless and keep you", one social media user commented.
Another fan called Zahara a 'blessing from God', adding the Lord would bless her for her act of kindness.
