- Being blue ticked is embarrassing enough but when you are ignored publicly it is completely cringeworthy
- Skolopad seems almost shameless in her search some recognition from AKA
- While he has left her hanging before, it seems she has taken things up a notch lately and the internet has noticed
Skolopad is not what anyone would call subtle. Her moves, outfits, or rather lack of outfits, on social media posts and in person have shot her to infamy. Who will ever forget when she turned up in “that” yellow dress at the 2017 Metro FM music awards.
Of late Skolopad also seems to have set her aim on Eyadini lounge. The popular venue is well known as Zodwa Wabantu’s turf, being where Wabantu launched her audacious career.
Briefly.co.za gathers that this obsession with AKA is as a result of being teased by Euphonic after she suggested working with her might help AKA get over Bonang.
Nary a week passes without her pushing to collaborate with the rapper. Either she bulldozes into his mentions on socials, or unabashedly name drops, whenever the opportunity arises.
Skolopad seems hell bent to link their names however she can.
There is some plan behind the sister’s stalking. Skolopad said this week that she is working through a list of people she wants to work with. AKA just happens to be at the end of the list.
"I have a list and AKA is the last one on my list. It is just that people take me for granted and I still say one day they'll say I'm a big headed ke hlanyantshwa ke fame forgetting they had their chance. Baitseba."
However sometimes she comes across as a little desperate and it is quite embarrassing for everyone involved.
Like the time she tweeted about AKA having sent her a birthday cake. In fact, someone else had send the cake, with the message that read, "To Nonhlanhla Qwabe AKA Skolopad." Oops!
Worst though would have to be when she congratulated on landing a major deal with a cloying tweet attached to a picture of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, just days after the struggle icon had just died.
Twitter had a field day with that.
