He is one of the most successful rappers in South Africa, so it's hard to imagine him having financial difficulties.
However, according to a recent Twitter post by Riky Rick, he once had nothing- no food, no home and no money.
And, if it was not for his 'brother' Da L.E.S, he would not have made it through the challenging time.
"My brother @2freshLES You and your mom let me sleep at your house when I didn't have a place. Gave me food and a job when I needed it. Showed me what family means. Thank you bro. Thank you.", the post read.
The story of his hard life contradicts the rapper's luxurious lifestyle now. In 2017 it was reported he had R5 million's worth of super cars.
Tweeps were inspired by the story and one even tried t get help from the American-South African rapper.
"I don't have a place to stay... I don't have food I don't have a Job @2freshLES please help me hle if I can stay at your house with your mom for at least 2 years I believe I'll be able to balance my life plsssss", one tweep wrote.
Others only concentrated on the act of kindness that helped Riky Rick get back on his feet.
