- After Queen Mathosa-Nkosi met the love of her life, Refilwe Nkosi, on social media, the couple hit it off immediately

- Today, they are a happily married couple, who can not get enough of each other
Two woman met on Facebook almost a decade ago, and today they can not get enough of each other.
In 2008, 32-year-old Queen Mathosa-Nkosi met the love of her life, Refilwe Nkosi, 34, on Facebook.
However, Refilwe was in a relationship at the time, so the couple chatted for years before they met in 2014, after both were single.
In 2015, they went on their first date and the rest was history. Queen said it was Refilwe who gathered the courage to pop the question.
After more than a year together, the 34-year-old decided to make it official, so she proposed in the most romantic way.
“We went out for dinner at a place down the road from where we stay. After the main meal, while I was looking at the dessert menu, she handed me a folded piece of paper. I opened it, and it read ‘will you marry me?’", Queen recalled.
Of course she said yes, and five months later they said I do in a traditional wedding.
The traditional ceremony was followed by a beautiful white wedding in Johannesburg.
“We had our white wedding ceremony on our second anniversary. We got married at Moyo, Zoo Lake. We chose the venue because it’s where we had our first dinner date. Also, we loved that we were able to get a buffet menu, so everyone could eat what they wanted.”
And, according to the couple every aspect of their special day was perfect, especially having their loved ones present just for them.
“We had been living together after dating for one year. This means we now get to live our best lives, waking up next to each other every day. It doesn’t get better than that!”, they said about the transition after getting married, which apparently was wonderful.
As for their secret to keeping the love alive? “We still go on dates, buy each other gifts and, most importantly, communicate our feelings.”
