- Fans of of TVs Uzalo love the character played by Nelisa Mchunu, Fikile
- Fikile always seems to be a little “off” on most things, as if she is playing with half a deck
- A recent video of Mchunu has people wondering if Fikile is really an act or is Nelisa is similar in real life to the character she portrays
The video was posted on the Uzalo twitter page leading Briefly.co.za to sumise that she was supposed to be channeling her character, Fikile, but Nelisa Mchunu is very clearly also representing herself based on the way she is tagged.
Uzalo fans love how Mchunu’s character ‘Fikile’ appears to be off-ish on everything, as if she isn’t quite sure of anything, and is struggling just to manage as a functional member of society.
The video has fans wondering if the actress might also be a bit scatterbrained in real life.
In a video posted by the Uzalo twitter page, the actress was being asked random questions and her answers were classic Fikile.
It left everyone wondering whether Mchunu is really as clueless as the answers suggest, or was she in character and answering as her character Fikile?
The three questions asked were the following:
1. Which animal is in the R10 note?
2. Name the BIG Five?
3. What’s the second last line of the National Anthem?
Pretty simple questions, right?
Apparently not so. Mchunu stumbled over the answers and even boasted about being sure of the answer to one, while getting it completely wrong.
How would you have fared if you were asked the same questions on camera?
Shame! Perhaps she was just feeling the pressure, but an accomplished actress shouldn’t feel the pressure of being on camera. On the other hand, working without a script can cause even the best performer to struggle.
If you found yourself stuck. Here are the correct answers provided by a helpful fan.
