Bsc Chemistry and Geology graduate thanks her parents for always being there for her

Graduating can be an emotional experience, particularly when the journey through university has been fraught with challenges, to finally know that it was all worth it can be overwhelming.

For this young graduate the day was so much more meaningful, she wore the same dress that the mom wore when she graduated shortly after giving birth to her.

Her mom also stayed up with her while she worked on each assignment and prepared for every test.

She also thanked her father for always being there to fetch her from university regardless of the time. She posted on Twitter thanking her parents for everything that they had done.

Recently South Africa has been inundated with stories of graduates and some of them have been truly remarkable. One of these was of a Limpopo man who graduated after 18 years, he simply refused to give up regardless of the challenges life had in store for him.
