A picture has emerged on social media showing the awkward moment journalists looked away while interviewing a topless Nonkanyiso Conco.

Nonkanyiso is former President Jacob Zuma's soon-to-be seventh wife. According to reports, they recently welcomed a baby.

In the image, Zuma's fiancée is seen responding to a question posed by the interviewer. However, the interviewer and the cameraman are both seen looking the other way.

One user ventured to explain that "it's not allowed to look at mkhulu's [big man's] wife hence they have to look the other way." It's unclear when the picture was taken.

24-year-old Nonkanyiso confirmed to several news outlets that she is set to marry the former president soon.

Until recently, she has been a member of Nomkhubulwane Culture and Youth Development Organisation, which advocates for virginity and chastity before marriage.

According to IOL, Nonkanyiso has been made to resign as an executive committee member of She Conquers, an NGO advocating for young women’s rights.

In a statement, the NGO said her relationship with Zuma was “contrary to the principles and goals of the campaign.”
