A video shared on Twitter shows the moments two football fans looted media equipment in the full glare of cameras.
The incident occurred after the Kaizer Chiefs vs Free State Stars Nedbank Cup semifinal match at Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban on Saturday, Briefly.co.za gathered.
Violence broke out after Kaizer Chiefs fans invaded the pitch, apparently unhappy at their team losing 2-0. Looters took advantage of the situation to make off with various items.
In the video, one fan is seen carrying a large speaker away from the stadium. Another one is seen making off with camera equipment.
The violence and looting have drawn widespread condemnation. See some reactions on Twitter below.
According to thesouthafrican.com, police arrested two men aged 27 and 33 for their part in the incident.
They are due to appear at the Durban Magistrate's Court on Monday.
