Zodwa gives thanks to her fans: ‘Don't celebrate me’

Zodwa Wabantu has raised levels, keeping her eye on the candy all the way. She is a money driven woman and is not afraid to admit it.

She likes flashy things, big houses and nice cars. Zodwa openly admits that the fame and recognition are not what excites her, it’s the money. One thing she always does, is thanks her fans.

Zodwa relected on life when leaving for the United States. She came to the conclusion that, despite Afrotainment boss DJ Tira giving her the break that she needed, she would be absolutely nothing without her fans.

When she was breaking levels and climbing the ranks, she never treated herself differently or thought of herself as anything more. Zodwa says that this is how she managed to keep a good balance to keep climbing.

Zodwa posted some pics and videos to her social media where she was greeting and thanking fans.

"I only talk with my Boss @djtira for 2 minutes, perhaps once a month. He knows I can have the best table,with my Savanna dry & whiskey, but these people are everything. I will go to them, cause our concerts are full because of them. Gqom Concert 21 April. Our music is worldwide because of them. We really appreciate you guys. Owenu not a celebrity. Don't Celebrate me. I'm showing you how to live your life as you can."

Zodwa stated in another post that she will never forget her roots and that she is prepared for anything that life has to throw at her.
