Thandiswa Mazwai’s daughter turns 18: ‘My baby is no longer a baby’

South African musician Thandiswa Mazwai is facing a proud and emotional time in a mother’s life, when their child turns 18.

Thandiswa Mzwai’s baby girl is not so little anymore. Malika’s father is Thandiswa’s former Bongo Maffin band-mate Stoan Seate. There was indifference between the two over their daughter, but they have come a long way since.

Malika is mommy and daddys girl. Her parents both love her to pieces and she is their entire world. They go all out for her birthdays and always celebrate together.

Thandiswa got so excited on Malika’s 18th birthday they she broke into Vosho.

She took to twiiter to express her emotions of her baby girl turning the big one eight.

“My baby is no longer a baby. This week we get ready for the big ONE EIGHT!!! She has taught me so much about love and surrender. She brought the sunshine back into my life when I thought the long night would never end. She is what happened when god kissed my heart.”
