A London-based woman has shared how her aunt got her hopes up about someone being madly in love with her — only to find out it was Jesus.

Briefly.co.za gathered that Sophie Duker, a comedian, shared screenshots of the hilarious WhatsApp exchange on Twitter, where they have gone viral.

The message from her aunt read:

Good morning Soph, how are you? Someone told me to tell you that they are madly in love with you so much.

When Sophia asked her aunt who the person was, the latter said, "Jesus." A "disappointed" Sophia responded:

I bet he says that about all the girls.

Her aunt responded, "And boys too." This prompted Sophia to joke that Jesus is bisexual.
