Kwaito star Mshoza has decided to set the record straight about her tense relationship with her mother-in-law, Lindiwe Mvula. Mshoza admits that as a family, they are facing problems, but she is adamant that those are normal issues and she is working hard to improve the relationship.
Mshoza said there is a lot of false information in the media about her relationship with the woman known as MaKhoza. Mshoza said while they don’t always see eye-to-eye, she has nothing but respect for MaKhoza.
A source of trouble seems to be the fact that Mshoza has never been a typical or traditional wife, something which she said her husband Thuthukani Mvula appreciates.
Briefly.co.za gathered that MaKhoza seems to have an issue with Mshoza’s modernity and feels like she is only using Thuthukani for his money.
MaKhoza has never minced her words when it comes to Mshoza and has repeatedly stated that she does not like her.
MaKhoza apparently feels that Mshoza talks too much and a comment Mshoza made about MaKhoza’s daughters being unemployed really upset the older woman.
MaKhoza said: "I like smiling and laughing and uMakoti (Mshoza) talks too much..I don't want to hurt anyone, I know myself - I can be very cruel when given the chance. Makoti must not test me."
The Kwaito star and Thuthukani got married in November 2017 in a lavish ceremony. The couple has been the picture of happiness despite rumours flying about that Thuthukani was not legally divorced from his estranged wife.
Mshoza and Thutukani have not commented on those reports and have shown a united (and loved up) public front.
